Isak Andic death investigation: Police rule out health issues

Investigators are uncovering new details in the homicide case involving the death of Mango founder Isak Andic. Following an analysis of Andic’s mobile phone data from the 12 months preceding his death on December 14, 2024, the Mossos d’Esquadra have reportedly ruled out health issues as a cause for a previous fall.

During the investigation, police examined a fall that occurred on February 20 at the Mutua Universal headquarters in Barcelona. While the defense for Jonathan Andic—who is accused of murdering his father—claims the fall was due to osteoarthritis, new data from the mobile phone analysis suggests the businessman was in perfect health at the time.

Judge Raquel Nieto had previously requested medical and pharmacological records to determine if physical ailments played a role in the incidents. However, the Martorell Investigation Unit’s expanded review of communications has provided evidence that contradicts the defense's claims regarding the relevance of the businessman's physical condition during that period.
