Ishimura Manseido rolls out limited sweets at Japan’s major department stores

The 120‑year‑old Hakata confectionery brand Ishimura Manseido will hold limited‑time sales events from July 15 to July 21 2026 at several flagship Japanese department stores, including Daimaru Sapporo, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi and Hankyu Umeda. The stalls will feature seasonal products such as the summer‑flavored Hinata Natsu Tsurunoko, a marshmallow‑filled cake using Miyazaki’s Hinata‑natsu fruit, and the celebratory Shukautae Sand, a cookie sandwich with caramel‑cream and caramelised walnuts.

These promotions aim to bring the brand’s traditional Hakata sweets to a wider national audience, with limited stock available at each location. Shoppers are advised to visit early as items may sell out before the end of the exhibition period.
