Isis Valverde expresses regret over large tattoo size

Brazilian actress Isis Valverde expressed regret regarding the size of a tattoo she received at age 21. In a YouTube interview on the program ‘Ambulatório da Moda’, the 39-year-old actress explained that while she does not regret the imagery itself, the large proportions of the design have caused professional difficulties.

The tattoo, located on her ribs, depicts two masks kissing—an inspiration drawn from the film ‘Gone with the Wind’ to represent the relationship between comedy and tragedy. Valverde noted that the size of the piece has required her to use makeup or other methods to hide it during filming to avoid interfering with character portrayals.

Valverde stated that the decision was made during a rebellious period of her youth. She currently has eight tattoos but now prefers more discreet locations that are easier to conceal.
