Ismael Burgueño rallies Baja California supporters to defend national sovereignty

Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, a candidate for the Coordination in Defense of the Transformation and National Sovereignty for the Morena party, began a series of outreach visits across Baja California. In Playas de Rosarito he urged residents to join the defence of Mexico’s sovereignty, citing the Fourth Transformation and President Claudia Sheinbaum’s leadership, and stressed that the effort is about self‑determination rather than disputes with other nations.

Five days later, Burgueño addressed community members in the Villas del Sol neighbourhood of Ensenada, repeating the call for organized, respectful support of the Morena agenda and the protection of national territory. He encouraged participants to spread the message to families and friends to counter what he described as “dirty wars” against the project.
