Ismael Zambada aircraft landing video released

New video footage has surfaced showing the landing of the aircraft that transported Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada and Joaquín Guzmán López to the United States on July 25, 2024. The footage depicts the plane landing at the Santa Teresa airport in New Mexico, where federal authorities, including the FBI and DEA, were already deployed on the runway.

Zambada, a prominent leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, has maintained that his transfer to U.S. territory was not voluntary. His legal defense claims he was lured to a meeting under the guise of mediating a conflict, where he was subsequently beaten, bound, and forced onto the aircraft.

Additional reports suggest the operation involved a U.S. command entering a property near Culiacán, Sinaloa, where Zambada was reportedly traveling on foot with escorts. These accounts allege that the suspects were taken to a clandestine airfield before departing in a Beechcraft King Air to the United States.
