Isparta hunters conduct drive hunt to control wild boar population

In Isparta, Turkey, a coordinated drive hunt was conducted to control the wild boar population following reports of damage to agricultural lands, gardens, and incursions into residential areas.

Organized by the Isparta Hunting and Shooting Specialization Association and coordinated by the Isparta Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks with support from the Isparta Governor's Office, a team of approximately 25 hunters targeted the mountainous region between Çünür, Senirce, and Bozanönü. The operation, which utilized hunting dogs, resulted in the killing of 47 wild boars.

In a separate incident in Sivas, Turkey, farmers in the Çayboyu neighborhood reported significant damage to cornfields caused by a herd of wild boars. Local residents engaged in night watches to protect their crops, successfully hunting one boar, though they continue to seek permanent solutions to prevent further agricultural losses.
