Ispica and Messina host class reunions 40–50 years after graduation

In Ispica, mayor Pierenzo Muraglie opened the city hall to welcome alumni of the 1976 Liceo class. The gathering at Palazzo Bruno was marked by nostalgic recollections, emotional speeches and a celebration of the bonds formed half a century ago.

In Messina, former pupils of the IV C section of the Felice Bisazza school reunited after 40 years. The classmates shared memories of school life, expressed how the reunion revived the spirit of their youth, and highlighted the enduring friendships that have survived decades.

Both events illustrate the strong attachment former students feel to their school years and the community’s support for commemorating these milestones.
