Israel accused of removing Gaza rubble to destroy evidence

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has accused the Israeli military of conducting large-scale operations to remove rubble and human remains from the Gaza Strip, potentially destroying evidence of war crimes and genocide.

According to the organization, Israeli forces and civilian contractors are using approximately 400 heavy machines to crush and transport debris from destroyed neighborhoods and facilities to locations outside the enclave. The monitor reports that nearly 100 trucks are leaving Gaza daily to carry this material. These operations are reportedly being conducted without official registries or independent oversight, occurring before international or local forensic teams can document the sites.

Experts warn that the removal of debris from areas under Israeli military control may prevent the identification and exhumation of victims. The monitor emphasizes that these activities do not appear to be part of organized humanitarian efforts to clear roads or prepare for reconstruction, but rather an organized effort to process debris from sites that could serve as crime scenes.
