Israel and Honduras sign security cooperation agreement

Israel and Honduras have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen security cooperation and expand strategic ties between the two nations. The agreement was signed by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz and Honduran Defence Minister Enrique Rodriguez Burchard during an official visit to Israel by a senior Honduran defence delegation.

The delegation, which included Honduras’s internal security minister and the chief of the joint staff of the Honduran Army, held discussions regarding joint strategic and security issues. During the talks, Honduran officials were briefed on Israel’s recent security and operational challenges, including lessons learned from its multi-front campaigns against Iran and its proxies.
