President Asfura expressed formal interest in acquiring military equipment manufactured by the Dominican Military Industry (Indom), specifically TP-75 Dulus patrol and training aircraft and Furia armored tactical vehicles, to bolster Honduran police and military capabilities.

The leaders also addressed regional challenges, including migration, the situation in Haiti, and the impact of sargassum. Additionally, Honduras requested technical advisory from the Dominican Republic to prepare for hosting the XIII Central American and Caribbean Games in Tegucigalpa in November 2029.
