Israel bombings in Gaza raise death toll and destroy medical warehouses

Israeli forces intensified air and artillery strikes on Gaza City, Beit Lahia and the Al‑Bureij refugee camp, bringing the death count reported by the Gaza Ministry of Health to 1,252 Palestinians since the cease‑fire began on 11 October. The latest attacks killed at least 22 civilians in the preceding 24 hours, adding to the growing civilian toll.

In a separate strike on Deir al‑Balah, Israeli missiles hit two of the four pharmaceutical warehouses serving the Al‑Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The explosions destroyed the two warehouses completely and caused severe damage to the remaining two, wiping out critical drug stocks for chronic and oncology patients. The Ministry of Health warned that the shortage now kills three cancer patients each day, while hospital spokesperson Dr. Khalil al‑Daqran said the assault aims to collapse Gaza’s health system.
