Armenian Court rules Hovhannes Sahakyan arrest was unlawful
The Armenian Criminal Review Court has ruled that the arrest of Hovhannes Sahakyan was unlawful. The court upheld an appeal filed by lawyer Karine Margaryan, determining that there was no reasonable suspicion of criminal activity at the time of the arrest, which had occurred in June 2026.
