Israeli military forces have intensified operations across southern Lebanon, utilizing airstrikes, artillery shelling, and ground incursions. Reports indicate Israeli warplanes struck towns such as Mansouri in the Tyre district, while artillery targeted the outskirts of Bint Jbeil and the valleys of Srebbine and Zibqin. Ground maneuvers included the use of tanks and bulldozers advancing toward the outskirts of Kfar Shuba.

These military actions continue despite a US-sponsored framework agreement signed on June 26, which intended for a gradual Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese army. According to Lebanese government statistics, Israeli attacks have resulted in 4,389 deaths and 12,424 injuries since March 2.

In a separate diplomatic development, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun held discussions with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding the seizure of 780 kg of explosives intercepted between Beirut and the Bekaa Valley. Hezbollah member Hassan Fadlallah acknowledged the group's connection to the transport, which was reportedly intended for operations against Israel. Rubio urged Lebanese authorities to hold those responsible for the transport accountable and advocated for direct communication between Lebanese and Israeli forces for deconfliction.
