Israel conducts airstrikes in Gaza amid disarmament disputes

Israeli airstrikes have continued in the Gaza Strip, marking a resumption of aerial operations after a period of relative inactivity. In Beit Lahia, an attack targeted a Hamas commander accused of planning strikes against Israeli soldiers. While the military stated the target was a terrorist, local civil defense and hospitals reported that the strike hit a vehicle carrying civilians, resulting in at least one death and five injuries.

Reports indicate that multiple strikes over a two-day period have caused at least nine Palestinian fatalities. These ongoing operations highlight a significant rift regarding the future of the conflict.
