Israel conducts strikes and demolitions in southern Lebanon

Israeli military operations have continued in southern Lebanon, involving airstrikes, artillery shelling, and targeted demolitions, despite existing ceasefire frameworks and agreements for a gradual withdrawal.

In the Houla area of the Marjayoun district, Israeli forces reportedly planted explosives in a private school building and detonated them, resulting in the total destruction of the structure. Reports also indicate that homes in the same vicinity were set on fire.

Additional strikes were reported across several regions, including heavy artillery fire in Khiam, Tallouseh, and Bani Hayyan, as well as airstrikes targeting Kfar Tibnit and areas near Tyre. In the Nabatieh district, intense shelling was noted around Mayfadoun and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least 4,386 people have died as a result of Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2. The ongoing military activity raises significant concerns regarding the stability of the ceasefire agreement mediated by the United States.
