Israel Defense Forces destroy Hamas weapon sites in Gaza as death toll exceeds 930

Israel’s Defence Forces announced that they struck and dismantled three Hamas weapons depots across the Gaza Strip. The sites housed explosives, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and about ten trucks that the military said were being used for Hamas operations. The IDF stated the attacks were aimed at an “immediate threat” and that precision‑guided munitions and aerial surveillance were employed to minimise civilian casualties.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that the death toll from Israeli attacks has risen to more than 930 Palestinians, with 2,859 injured since the cease‑fire took effect in October 2025. The ministry added that the overall casualties since the October 7, 2023 conflict began total 72,941 dead and 172,967 wounded, reflecting the continuing humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
