Israel Poll Shows Opposition Lead and Low Confidence in MKs

A Channel 12 poll finds 49% of respondents intend to vote for parties in the anti‑Netanyahu bloc, while 36% back the pro‑Netanyahu coalition and 12% remain undecided. The same survey shows that 64% rate the outgoing Knesset’s performance as poor, with only 33% giving it a positive rating. A strong majority—74%—believe most members of the Knesset serve their own interests rather than the public good.

The poll also reveals widespread opposition to recent legislation, with 67% opposing both the Basic Law: Torah Study and a law freezing arrests of draft evaders. Regarding security, 39% of respondents view Shin Bet chief David Zini negatively, 37% positively, and 24% are unsure. Emigration data cited by the poll indicate a net loss of over 100,000 Israelis between 2022 and 2024, highlighting demographic concerns alongside political discontent.
