Israeli Airstrikes and Drone Strike Kill Civilians in Gaza Amid Ceasefire

Intense Israeli airstrikes have hit the Gaza Strip, with footage showing extensive devastation. The attacks are presented by Israel as targeting militants, but human‑rights groups warn of civilian casualties and call for a ceasefire.

A separate Israeli drone strike on the Bureij refugee camp killed municipal worker Muawiya al‑Aydi and injured two others. Gaza’s Health Ministry says the death toll since the ceasefire was declared has risen to 983, with more than 3,100 injured. Hamas accuses Israel of repeatedly breaching the ceasefire.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces conducted raids near Bethlehem, using stun grenades and tear gas, and incidents near Hebron injured a disabled Palestinian man. Settlers also clashed with Palestinians, damaging property and assaulting workers. The ongoing violence underscores the fragile security situation and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank.
