Israeli army attacks kill civilian worker in Gaza camp and health worker family

The Israeli army conducted a strike near the Bureyc refugee camp in the Gaza Strip despite a cease‑fire, killing a municipal worker and wounding two other civilians. The incident raised the cumulative death toll from the war that began in October 2023 to 72,993, and hospitals reported two additional deaths and eleven injuries in the preceding 48 hours.

In a separate air strike on the Sheikh Ridwan district of Gaza City, an Israeli drone bombed an apartment, killing health‑care worker Muhammed Hebil and his five‑year‑old son Musa. Their bodies were taken to Shifa Hospital’s morgue, and family members described the painful farewells. Israeli violations of the cease‑fire, in place since 10 October 2025, have been recorded 3,269 times, resulting in 992 deaths, 3,138 injuries and 95 detentions.
