Israeli bulldozers uproot olive trees in West Bank

Israeli bulldozers uprooted dozens of olive trees near the northern entrance of Arraba, located southwest of Jenin in the West Bank. The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Israeli military.

Local landowners have contested the action, demanding explanations for the destruction of trees that some residents claim were planted 70 years ago. One landowner, Nasser Fari, stated that a soldier informed him the operation was authorized following incidents of stone-throwing in the area, though he questioned the specific nature of the authorization.

Other residents, including Nasra Ali Khalil and Abdullah Fari, expressed distress over the loss of fruit-bearing trees, noting that the destruction followed the prior demolition of local shops.
