Israeli demolition razes 1,100 homes in Tulkarm camp, arrests dozens in West Bank raids

Israeli forces have destroyed 1,100 housing units in the Tulkarm refugee camp, heavily damaging about 4,000 other units, 1,000 commercial shops and 700 vehicles. The demolition forced the displacement of roughly 3,300 families, with residents reporting loss of historic neighbourhoods and severe restrictions on movement.

On the same day, Israeli troops launched a coordinated wave of raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The operations involved house searches, the use of sound bombs and live ammunition, and the arrest of at least four youths in the village of Azon east of Qalqilya, as well as several community leaders and other Palestinians in Nablus, Jericho and other towns. Settlers also attacked two mosques in Ramallah, defacing them with hateful slogans.
