Israeli Drone and Ground Attacks Kill Dozens in Gaza, Injure Many
Over two consecutive days Israeli forces carried out multiple drone, artillery and naval operations across the Gaza Strip, breaching a declared ceasefire. On Monday six Palestinians were killed and more than twenty wounded in Khan Younis, Gaza City and al‑Mawasi, including children and women; a married couple died when a drone struck their apartment and three fishermen were wounded. UN agencies reported that since the ceasefire 1,072 Palestinians have died and the overall war death toll exceeds 73,000.
The following day seven Palestinians were killed and at least twenty injured in further strikes, which also eliminated two senior Al‑Qassam Brigade members and the public‑relations director of the Egyptian Committee in Gaza. Israeli naval units abducted seven Palestinian fishermen, cutting off a critical source of income for many families. UNRWA and OCHA warned that humanitarian access remains blocked and displaced families face untenable conditions.
