Israeli drone strike kills mother and infant in Gaza displacement camp

A Israeli drone bomb hit a displacement‑camp tent in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, killing 23‑year‑old Diana Mohamed Salm Abu Daraz and her one‑year‑old daughter Suwar Thair Abu Daraz. Several other Palestinians were wounded. The attack came amid continuous violations of the cease‑fire that has been in place since 10 October, with Israeli artillery also shelling northern Rafah and deploying bomb‑laden robots that destroyed homes in Gaza City’s Al‑Tuffah and Shuja‘iya neighborhoods.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces carried out raids in the Jericho‑Bethlehem area, arresting two Palestinians after entering villages east of Bethlehem and west of Ramallah. The operations included house searches and road blockades that disrupted local movement. Both the Gaza strikes and the West Bank arrests are part of a broader pattern of intensified Israeli military activity across the occupied Palestinian territories.
