Israeli drone strikes kill three Palestinians in Gaza

The Israeli military carried out two drone attacks in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others. One strike hit the courtyard of a house in Deir al‑Balah, killing one civilian, while an earlier strike hit a crowd of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood of Gaza City, killing two.

The attacks came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump and a peace board announced a new phase of a cease‑fire agreement, with Hamas saying it had accepted a detailed guideline, while Israel offered no comment. Since the cease‑fire violations began in October, 1,222 Palestinians have been killed and 4,053 injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry, bringing the total war toll since October 2023 to more than 73,000 dead and 174,000 wounded. The offensive has also destroyed about 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure.
