Israeli forces conduct widespread raids and arrests across West Bank, convert homes to military posts

In early‑morning operations, Israeli security forces launched a series of coordinated raids throughout the occupied West Bank. The sweep covered cities and towns including Nablus, Ramallah, Qalqilya, Jenin, Hebron and surrounding villages. Dozens of Palestinians were detained, among them several residents of Beit Lahm, Nablus, Ramallah and Hebron. In several locations, homes were seized and temporarily turned into military outposts.

The raids were accompanied by settler violence; in the village of Jiljiliya near Ramallah, settlers set fire to a mosque and vandalised its walls with racist graffiti. The actions sparked intense clashes between the Israeli army, settlers and local residents, leading to injuries and the use of live fire in some areas.

Human rights groups reported that the operations involved extensive house searches, seizure of property and the detention of individuals for questioning by Israeli intelligence services.
