Israeli forces ramp up raids, demolitions and child arrests across West Bank

On June 11, 2026, Israeli military units and settlers intensified operations throughout the West Bank, carrying out demolitions, demolition notices, raids and attacks from the Jordan Valley and Jericho to Salfit, Hebron, Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin and Bethlehem. They destroyed four structures belonging to Arab families in the Al‑Tarifates area north of Jericho, issued a demolition notice for a house owned by Azat Ahmed Rashaida in Bardele, razed a construction house in Kafr al‑Dik, Salfit, and attacked farmer Mahmoud Al‑Masri’s wheat and barley harvest near Yatta. Settlers contaminated water wells in Hamrosh near Sa’ir, installed surveillance cameras in villages, set up military checkpoints and barriers, and used tear‑gas in Bethlehem.

During the same period, the Palestinian Information Center recorded 218 raids, 132 arrests—including the teenage brothers Amir and Rida al‑Abadi—and 56 shooting incidents, resulting in one Palestinian death and 54 injuries. Settlers also assaulted farms, livestock, and religious sites and confiscated property. The deployment of additional troops and equipment suggests an effort to establish a new outpost near Ramallah, further pressuring Palestinian civilians and heightening tensions in the occupied territories.
