Israeli forces launch extensive West Bank raids, arrest dozens

In early Tuesday, Israeli security forces carried out a coordinated series of raids across the West Bank, entering towns, villages and refugee camps in the Qalqilya, Jenin, Nablus, Hebron and Jerusalem areas. The operations involved house searches, the seizure of personal belongings and the use of tear‑gas canisters, which caused injuries and hindered ambulance access in several locations.

The raids resulted in the arrest of 25 Palestinian residents and the detention of dozens more for field investigations. Arrests were reported in Qalqilya, Jenin (including the villages of Deir Abu Daif and al‑Mughayir), Nablus, Hebron and other locales. Israeli forces also entered commercial premises and public spaces, while some neighborhoods experienced clashes with youths and the firing of sound bombs.

Human rights groups noted the widespread nature of the operation and the impact on civilians, citing reports of property damage and restricted medical assistance.
