Israeli forces raid West Bank and Jerusalem, killing a Palestinian and arresting dozens

Israeli security forces carried out a coordinated wave of raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem on July 13, 2026. The operations resulted in the death of a Palestinian, identified by local sources as Nasser Zaal Kaabna, who was shot near the separation barrier in the town of Bir al‑Nabala north of Jerusalem. The Red Crescent reported the transfer of his body.

Simultaneously, troops entered numerous towns and refugee camps, including Bethlehem, Jenin, Ramallah, Nablus, Hebron, and Jericho, conducting house searches, detaining dozens of residents and closing key roads. Among those arrested were several young men in Nablus, Ramallah, and Hebron. Settler groups also carried out attacks, attempting to steal livestock and blocking roads with stones in the village of Turmusaya.

The raids were accompanied by the issuance of multiple stop‑work notices to Palestinian homes and the bulldozing of agricultural land near Ramallah for the expansion of the Israeli settlement of Nili. These actions intensified tensions and further restricted movement for residents across the occupied territories.
