Israeli forces raid multiple West Bank towns and East Jerusalem, arrest dozens

Israeli occupation forces carried out coordinated raids across the West Bank and East Jerusalem early on Thursday. Units entered towns and villages including Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarm, Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem and parts of Jerusalem, conducting house searches, looting contents and deploying sound‑bomb devices. Dozens of Palestinians were detained – among them youths, a Fatah official, and residents such as Jaafar Youssef Rihan in Nablus. Israeli soldiers also seized seven water‑tank trucks in Hebron and carried out settler‑provoked provocations near Palestinian homes. The operations were part of a broader escalation, with the Wall Resistance Committee reporting 1,659 hostile incidents in May, 1,108 of which were attributed to Israeli forces.
