Israeli forces raid Quneitra countryside in Syria

Israeli forces conducted raids in the rural areas of Quneitra, Syria, targeting civilian infrastructure and residents. In the village of el-Hanut, Israeli tanks advanced within 500 meters of homes to establish a temporary checkpoint. During this operation, soldiers reportedly destroyed four agricultural irrigation motors belonging to local civilians.

In the village of el-Hamidiyye, military vehicles entered the area and detained one young man. Local residents reported that troops fired indiscriminately at civilians attempting to observe the military movement, including an incident where a disabled child on a motorcycle was targeted and knocked to the ground.

Local inhabitants have criticized the United Nations forces stationed in the Golan Heights, claiming they have been ineffective in preventing violations and maintaining security, acting more as observers than peacekeepers.
