Israeli forces raid West Bank and Kalandia refugee camp
Israeli forces have conducted a series of raids and demolitions across the West Bank and northern Jerusalem. In the Kalandia refugee camp, military forces issued notices for the demolition of structures and forced UNRWA employees to evacuate the Kalandia Training Center. Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir entered the UNRWA facility, announcing an evacuation operation and stating there is “no place for the agency (UNRWA) in Jerusalem and Israel.” This follows Knesset legislation passed in late 2024 that bans UNRWA operations within Israel.
In other parts of the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested 17 Palestinians during raids in the Nablus, Ramallah, and Hebron governorates. Simultaneously, Israeli settlers have increased activity, attempting to expand a settlement point near Nablus and attacking an aluminum factory near Ramallah with Molotov cocktails. In the Hebron area, settlers reportedly entered Palestinian courtyards and displaced livestock, leading to local concerns regarding land confiscation.
