Israeli forces raid West Bank education and charity sites

Israeli troops entered the UNRWA vocational institute in Qalandia, sealed its main entrance and fired tear‑gas shells inside the campus. In the same day they shut down the headquarters of the al‑Tadamun charitable association in Nablus, accusing it of supporting terrorism and confiscating its offices, equipment and aid supplies. The army also demolished the playground of a boys’ secondary school in Betir, west of Bethlehem – a facility built more than six decades ago. These actions are described by Palestinian sources as part of a systematic effort to target educational and humanitarian institutions in the occupied West Bank. Since the conflict intensified on 8 October 2023, Palestinian authorities report 1,173 deaths, about 12,000 injuries, 666 people wounded by live fire, and roughly 23,000 arrests. Palestinian officials warn the escalating measures could precede a formal Israeli annexation of the territory.
