Israeli forces release 15 Gaza detainees, transferred to Deir al‑Balah hospital

Israeli authorities released 15 Palestinian prisoners held in the Afwar detention facility. The men, aged between 35 and 66, were taken from Israeli custody to the Shuhada Al‑Aqsa Hospital in Deir al‑Balah, central Gaza.

Upon arrival the detainees were immediately examined by medical staff to assess the health effects of their confinement. Dozens of relatives and local residents gathered at the hospital to welcome them and ascertain their condition.

The release was announced by local sources, who listed the prisoners by name and place of residence, confirming that Israel continues periodic releases of a limited number of Gaza detainees.
