Israeli military demolishes over 24 Palestinian homes in Masafer Yatta

The Israeli military has demolished more than 24 Palestinian homes and 17 sheds in the village of Cinba, located in the Masafer Yatta region of the occupied West Bank. The demolitions are part of an ongoing campaign in the area that has lasted for over a month.

Nidal Yunus, head of the Masafer Yatta Village Council, reported that the destruction also targeted essential infrastructure, including more than 15 solar energy panels, water wells, and water storage facilities. Additionally, sheep pens were targeted and household belongings were destroyed. Yunus stated that these actions have left more than 200 Palestinians displaced.

Local sources indicate that residents face increasing restrictions on construction and are being denied access to basic services such as electricity and drinking water. Palestinians claim these activities are intended to force them to leave their homes and lands.
