Israeli military orders seizure of 16.5 dunams in south Nablus for settlement road

The Israeli army issued a new military order (hand‑in‑hand order No. 42/26) to confiscate about 16.5 dunams of land in the southern part of Nablus Governorate. The land is slated for a 2,532‑metre road intended to link the Migdalim settlement with the Ish Kodesh outpost. The order cites “military purposes” and states the work will continue until the end of 2028.

Palestinian resistance groups say the maps attached to the order demonstrate that the road serves to integrate settlement blocs rather than address any urgent security need, further tightening Israeli control over Palestinian territory and restricting the movement of local residents.
