Israeli forces raid Tal village near Nablus, injuring 11 including children
Israeli soldiers and settlers stormed the village of Tal and surrounding areas southwest of Nablus in a large‑scale raid. At least 11 Palestinians, four of them children, were injured in the Junaid neighbourhood of Nablus, with one victim shot in the stomach, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society. Israeli troops detained at least ten people across the occupied West Bank, including arrests in Nablus, Tal, Salem and Bethlehem.
The Israeli military said that "Israeli civilians" entered Area A of the West Bank, a move prohibited under Israeli law. Earlier in the week, forces seized four Palestinian homes in Tal and turned them into military barracks. More than 100 Israeli settlers marched toward Tal, and during the incursion settlers set homes and vehicles on fire. Israeli forces employed stun grenades, tear‑gas canisters and live ammunition, and reports indicated a Palestinian cemetery was vandalised during the operation.
