Gaza: Israeli strikes continue despite October 10 ceasefire
Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip have continued despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10, 2025. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 1,422 Palestinians have been killed and approximately 5,000 injured by Israeli fire since the agreement began.
Multiple strikes were reported across the enclave. In the north, an Israeli drone strike in the Halava refugee camp east of Jabalia killed two Palestinians and wounded eight others. Another air strike on an apartment in Gaza City’s Nasr neighborhood killed two people, including children. In central Gaza, a drone strike on a house roof in the Al-Nafaq area killed a woman and wounded several others.
In Deir al-Balah, one Palestinian was killed by fire on Salah al-Din Street, and the military reportedly used explosives to demolish buildings in areas under its control. Additionally, reports indicate that Rania Saade, who was injured days ago in the Mawasi area of Rafah, has died. Israeli naval forces also conducted heavy firing toward the coasts of Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, and Khan Younis.
