Israeli military targets militants and infrastructure in Gaza and Lebanon

The Israeli military has conducted targeted operations in both the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon. In Khan Younis, Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet reported the elimination of Mohammad Abu Shalouf, a company commander in the Islamic Jihad military wing, and Musa Atef Musa Abu Dan, an elite Hamas unit member.

In southern Lebanon, Israeli forces from the 7th Brigade and the Yahalom unit destroyed underground tunnels extending hundreds of meters. Military spokespersons stated that these tunnels contained living quarters and combat equipment, including Kalashnikov rifles, machine guns, and anti-tank missiles. The military maintains that these actions are intended to remove threats and adhere to ceasefire agreements while preventing Hezbollah from targeting Israeli citizens.
