Israeli Minister Posts AI Image Comparing Erdogan to Hitler and Hamas Commander

Israeli diaspora minister Amichai Chikli posted an AI‑generated picture showing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in front of flags of ISIS and Nazi Germany, calling him a "grotesque hybrid of Hitler and Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar" and accusing him of patronising Hamas and the Islamic State. The post was a reaction to Erdogan’s recent remarks branding Zionism a genocide and urging collective Turkish survival.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also denounced Erdogan, saying the Turkish leader openly calls for Israel’s destruction and the conquest of Jerusalem, and warned the United States against supplying Turkey with advanced F‑35 fighter jets. The exchange comes as Israel‑Turkey relations have soured amid the Gaza war and Israel’s recent recognition of the Armenian genocide, which Turkey condemned.
