Israeli raids and settler attacks injure dozens in West Bank cities

Israeli forces carried out a series of raids across the West Bank on June 12‑13, 2026, deploying large quantities of tear‑gas and smoke canisters in Bethlehem’s Deir al‑Dahiyeh camp, Nablus, Hebron and other towns. The operations resulted in around 30 cases of gas inhalation, dozens of injuries and several arrests, including the detention of a young woman from Deir al‑Dahiyeh who was taken to hospital.

In parallel, settlers backed by Israeli troops attacked the village of Deir Abu Mashʿal west of Ramallah, wounding six members of one family and detaining ten youths in a farm building. The violence spread to other locales, with settlers setting up a tent in Umm Safa, burning a well near Odla, and assaulting farmers near Bir Suleiman and Yasuf. The coordinated actions have been described as part of a broader campaign to expand settlements and intimidate Palestinian residents.

Medical teams reported about 30 gas‑inhalation cases and several serious injuries, while local leaders condemned the raids and settler aggression as systematic violations of Palestinian civilians.
