Israeli settlers besiege Qusra families and establish new outposts

Israeli settlers have intensified activities in the occupied West Bank, including a prolonged siege of Palestinian families in the village of Qusra and the establishment of new settlement outposts.

In Qusra, southeast of Nablus, approximately 15 Palestinians, including two children, have been besieged in their homes for over a week. Reports indicate the families have faced threats and lack access to basic necessities such as food and running water. Amnesty International described the situation as part of a “coordinated and strategic settler terror” aimed at displacing Palestinians. While municipal crews eventually restored some utility lines, the siege has persisted.

Simultaneously, settlers have begun erecting tents to establish new outposts near Ramallah in the Wadi Zeytun area near Umm Safa and in the village of Burqa. These actions contribute to increasing land seizure in the region. In Beit Imrin, north of Nablus, settlers reportedly attacked a Palestinian home, leading to the arrest of nine individuals by Israeli forces.
