Israeli settlers launch wave of attacks across West Bank, including Birzeit University raid

Illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers carried out coordinated attacks across multiple West Bank districts within 24 hours, targeting Palestinian homes, agricultural lands, water infrastructure and livestock. Incidents included spraying toxic gas into a family home in Wadi ar‑Rakhim, blocking a dirt road and damaging a water pipeline near Tubas, bulldozing land in Ramallah and abducting three Palestinian workers. In several villages settlers assaulted residents, beat shepherds and released livestock onto crops, intensifying pressure on Palestinian communities.

Separately, Israeli forces raided Birzeit University near Ramallah, entering the campus in the early morning, assaulting a security guard and damaging facilities in the Faculty of Physical Education before withdrawing. The university confirmed that examinations would proceed as scheduled. The raid follows a pattern of near‑daily Israeli military operations in the occupied West Bank, which Palestinian authorities say have resulted in over 1,100 deaths, more than 12,600 injuries and tens of thousands of arrests since October 2023, alongside widespread home demolitions and settlement expansion.
