Israeli strikes kill Palestinians in Gaza despite ceasefire

At least seven Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli strikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, according to medical and local sources. These attacks occurred despite an active ceasefire.

In Gaza City, a significant incident took place near the Panda Mall, where a bombardment resulted in five deaths and six injuries. Other fatalities were reported in eastern Gaza City following an incursion, and a six-year-old girl died from gunshot wounds to her tent in the western part of the city.

Additional casualties were reported near Khan Yunis and in central Gaza, including deaths from drone strikes on a vehicle and artillery shelling. UN Women reported that since October 2023, nearly 50,000 women and girls have been killed or severely injured in the enclave.
