Israeli troops raze Palestinian factory in Hebron and close Al‑Aqsa’s King Faisal gate

On 15 July 2026 Israeli forces entered the Al‑Mikhd area of Beit Ula, west of Hebron in the West Bank and demolished a factory that produced ironwork and solar‑panel mounts, along with a 20‑square‑metre agricultural building and about 1,500 sq m of olive‑tree‑bearing land. The factory, owned by Ishaq Muhammad al‑Atrash and Rajai al‑Amleh, and the agricultural plots belonging to Muhammad Khalid Sidr, Osama Farash and Ahmad Yusuf al‑Amleh, were destroyed without warning, leaving owners unable to evacuate equipment or structures.

The same day Israeli troops temporarily sealed the King Faisal Gate, a main entrance to the Al‑Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem, citing a military drill. The closure, lasting about 30 minutes, was part of a broader tightening of access at other gates, disrupting worshippers’ movement in the holy site.
