Israel's defence ministry reported that arms exports reached a record $19 billion in 2025, the highest level in the country's history and the fifth consecutive year of growth. The surge represents a roughly 30 % increase over the previous year, with missile, rocket and air‑defence systems accounting for 29 % of all contracts.

More than half of the deals were "mega‑contracts" worth $100 million or more. European buyers received 36 % of the exports, followed by the Asia‑Pacific region (32 %) and the Middle East/North Africa (15 %). The ministry linked the strong demand to the performance of Israeli systems in conflicts that began after the Hamas attack on 7 October 2023. Defence Minister Israel Katz said the successes of the Israel Defence Forces and the country's defence industry are directly driving the export boom.
