Israel's latest Gaza offensive kills 9 Palestinians and sees 18 arrests in West Bank
Israeli forces carried out a series of drone and air strikes across the Gaza Strip, killing nine Palestinians and wounding many others. The attacks hit several neighborhoods, including Sheikh Ridwan, Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis, al‑Sabr, and Tel al‑Hawa, with at least three separate strikes resulting in civilian deaths, including a child.
In addition, Israeli troops conducted raids in the West Bank, detaining 18 Palestinians. Arrests were reported in Hebron’s Khusham al‑Darraj village, as well as in Nablus‑area towns such as A’inab, Beit Furik and Asira al‑Shamaliya, and in the vicinity of Bethlehem. Among those taken into custody were two children.
The strikes also damaged a warehouse of medicines and medical supplies at the Al‑Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al‑Balah, causing further hardship for the facility and nearby refugee tents.
