ISRO opens applications for 99 scientist and engineer posts

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced two recruitment drives. The Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) in Bengaluru invited applications for six Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ positions in bio‑related disciplines such as bio‑instrumentation, biotechnology and biomedical engineering. Applications are accepted online from 10 August to 30 August 2026, with a salary range of ₹67,700–₹2,08,700 per month at Pay Level‑11.

Separately, ISRO’s Centralised Recruitment Board opened online applications for 93 Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts covering electronics, mechanical, computer science, civil, electrical, refrigeration & air‑conditioning and architecture. Candidates must hold the relevant engineering degree and a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score. The deadline for these applications is 17 August 2026. Vacancies are spread across ISRO centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Sriharikota, Mahendragiri, Hassan and Valiamala, with interview short‑listing at a 1:7 ratio based on GATE scores.
