ISRO VSSC announces 460 apprentice positions

India's Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram opened recruitment for 460 apprentice trainees for the 2026‑27 session. The vacancies are split between 273 Graduate Apprentice posts and 187 Technician Apprentice posts. Selection will be conducted through walk‑in interviews on 25 July, from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at Karthika Thirunal Government Higher Secondary School for Girls, Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram. No online application is required; candidates must register on the NATS portal, obtain an enrollment number and bring original documents for verification at the interview venue.

Eligibility for Graduate Apprentices includes engineering graduates with at least 65 % marks, hotel‑management or catering graduates with 60 % marks, or non‑engineering graduates with a three‑year bachelor's degree and 60 % marks. Technician Apprentices must hold a three‑year engineering diploma with first‑class performance. The training period is one year, with monthly stipends of ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 for Technician Apprentices, plus transport and cafeteria facilities during training.
