ISSSTE expands health services with new clinic in Mexico City and advisory council in Colima

The Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) continued its transformation program in Mexico. In Colima, officials installed the advisory council of the State Representation Office, highlighting progress toward the "100 Achievements" plan promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum and ISSSTE director Martí Batres. The council, chaired by José Rodrigo Ávila Carrasco and attended by representatives from health, education and labor unions, is meant to coordinate efforts to improve medical, social and administrative services for beneficiaries.

In Mexico City’s Tlalpan borough, ISSSTE opened a new 52‑square‑metre medical consultorium serving about 4,800 right‑handed beneficiaries. The facility includes reception, waiting area, exam rooms and equipment for primary‑care services, offering first‑line medicines and preventive care for chronic, respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions. Director Martí Batres and Tlalpan mayor Gabriela Osorio Hernández emphasized the project’s role in expanding primary‑care coverage under the national strengthening strategy.
