Istanbul Festival launches August 1 with international lineup
The Istanbul Festival will run from 1 to 16 August 2026 in Festival Park Yenikapı. Organized by Focus Istanbul Event Management, CEO Özlem Adıgüzel said the event is designed to be accessible and inclusive, emphasizing that “music is universal and everyone’s right.”
The opening night on 1 August features English rap star Central Cee and Turkish rap artist Motive. Subsequent days include performances by Gökhan Türkmen and Ajda Pekkan (2 Aug), Serdar Ortaç (4 Aug), Derya Bedavacı and Özcan Deniz (5 Aug), maNga and Sagopa Kajmer (6 Aug), Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut and Mor ve Ötesi (7 Aug), Tiësto (8 Aug), Yıldız Tilbe (9 Aug), and a K‑pop segment with KWON EUNBI and ATEEZ (14 Aug). The festival’s main stage, inspired by Mimar Sinan, measures 70 m wide and 28 m high, equipped with a 1 300 m² LED screen and 176 speaker boxes. Ticket prices start at 750 TL.
Beyond concerts, the program includes a Youth Stage, DJ sets, dance shows, 3×3 basketball tournaments, children’s zones and food courts, creating a multi‑day cultural‑sport‑entertainment hub in Istanbul.
